                                                                 A BOOK FAIR

A fair where only books are shown and sold to the people is called a book fair. A book fair is held on an open space or in a big hall. Bangla Academy holds a month long book fair in the month of February every year. On the occasion of this fair publishers publish new books and sell books at reduced prices. The fair creates interest in books and encourages people to buy books. A book fair is arranged by some organization. Renowned writers and poets visit the fair to see their readers and exchange views with them.  The younger section of the society goes to the fair to see their favourite writers. Teenagers go to the fair to have autographs of the famous writers. A book fair becomes a meeting place of the readers and the writers. Steps should be taken to maintain calm, peaceful and healthy atmosphere in the fair.
